Amatullah’Muhyi Ali: Filmmaker/Actress

Note: I have known Muhyi for many years. First as a student, then as one of my many “artistic children”, and now as a gifted storyteller of color. To say I’m proud of her would be an understatement. What she has achieved in her young life is admirable and beautiful. Her art is constantly growing, exploring, and expanded the dialogue of what it means to be a woman of color.
